Short Bio: Curtis Peldo

Curtis Peldo was born in Bellflower, California in 1968.  He received his B.A. in Philosophy in 1999, and his M.A. in Social Ethics from California State University, Chico in 2003, where he graduated Phi Kappa Phi.  His thesis is titled “Works in Progress: The Pragmatic Pacifism of John Dewey and Jane Addams”. 

Peldo is currently a lecturer in philosophy at California State University, Chico and Butte Community College, and is serving as Secretary on the board of directors of The Peace Institute at CSU, Chico.  Peldo previously served as president on the board of directors of Chico Natural Foods, a cooperative retail natural foods store in Chico, CA.
